Elevator Pitch

Hi there, we'll take this one step at a time!

If you struggle with a blank canvas, use this boilerplate to start. Remember, this is a flexible resource—tweak it as needed. Some sections might not apply to your product and you might come up with great ideas not listed here, don't let be restricted.

This is not the only format, we would love to see you scope out a great format for your product!

Go wild and dive deep—we love well-researched documents that cover all bases with depth and understanding.

Refer to the project brief and the additional resources before you begin this project!
(Go through them at least 3 times or till the time you don’t have a mind map in your brain)

Let’s begin

It's time to kickstart the project by taking a crack at building your Elevator pitch.

(Think of this as an introduction to your product- make it remarkable)

Building great software shouldn't mean overhiring or slowing down.
At UIXLabs, we assemble on-demand product teams - engineers, designers, and strategists to help businesses launch high quality tech products at speed. From concept to launch, we handle the entire build so your core team can stay focused on what matters the most.
Our teams are flexible, fast moving, and deeply aligned with your goals - ideal for startups and growing companies alike.
We also offer separate Try & Hire service, helping you find and test - fit top talent before committing full time because interviews don't always tell the full story.
Whether you're building or scaling, UIXLabs gives you a better way to move forward-without the overhead.

👇 ⬇️

NEW PITCH:

Startups today don’t fail because of bad ideas, they fail because they can’t execute fast enough.
Hiring great product teams takes months, and in today’s market, that’s too slow.
Founders and product heads need a way to build without the delays and risk of over-hiring.

At UIX Labs, we assemble on-demand product teams - engineers, designers, and strategists to help fast-growing companies launch and scale high-quality software products.
From concept to launch, we deliver the entire build so your core team can stay focused on what matters most.

Our teams are flexible, deeply aligned with your product goals, and embedded -not outsourced. Ideal for SaaS, AI, and D2C startups looking to execute fast without long hiring cycles.

And because great talent fit matters, we also offer a Try & Hire service - helping you test and onboard top talent before committing full-time.

UIX Labs exists because building great software today shouldn’t mean slowing down, or giving up ownership.
We give founders and product leaders a better way to move forward without the overhead or compromises.

Validation:
→ In conversations with AI, SaaS, and D2C founders, hiring speed + execution alignment is consistently cited as a top 3 product bottleneck.
→ Our own inbound demand and early client wins show that the market is pulling strongly for this type of embedded, outcome-driven product partnership.

Understand the user

(Go and speak to different users of the product and the people in the chain: households buying the product, shopkeepers selling the product, churned users, and users using competitor's products. In the case of B2B products identify the decision makers, the influencer, the blocker, and the end-user)

Understanding your ICP

(Put down your ICP’s in a Table Format. A tabular format makes it super clear for anyone to understand who your users are and what differentiates them)

We have multiple users of a product and not all of them can be our ICP for whom we make our strategies, we need to prioritize.
(use an ICP prioritization table)

Understand the product

(Before you begin, you need to know what your product is, what are its features, what is the problem being solved by your product?)

Understanding Core Value Proposition

(Build your core value proposition by exact what your product does and what problem are you solving)

UIX Labs is a product engineering and design studio that partners deeply with startups and enterprises to build high performance, scalable, production grade digital products from 0 to 1, or scale existing ones.

It offers end-to-end digital product building, from product thinking → UI/UX design → full-stack engineering → deployment → transition to in-house team.

Problems UIX is solving

Most companies struggle with:

  • Finding end to end product partners not just "dev shops"
  • Bridging product vision with execution
  • Speed + quality in early-stage MVPs or full digital platforms
  • Avoiding bloated, over-architected solutions that slow down launch
  • Hiring fast and trusted engineering/design talent who "think product"
Core Value Proposition

UIX Labs builds and scales digitals products like a co-founding tech team, faster than hiring in-house, better than isolated agencies, and deeper than body-shopping.

It's not just code, design, or talent, it's the product thinking + execution that turns an idea into a real, usable, revenue-generating product.

Features
  1. 0 to 1 Product Launch Capability
Builds complete MVPs and v1 products for startups and innovation teams - fast, lean, and scalable.
  2. Full-Stack Product Engineering
Offers end-to-end development from frontend to backend to devops.
  3. Product Design & User Experience
Designs usable, intuitive digital interfaces that convert and retain users.
  4. Product Strategy & Scoping
Bridges the gap between founder's vision and what should be built.
  5. Embedded Product Teams
Deploys high performing UIX engineers/designers into client teams for longer term collaboration
  6. Tech + Ops Ecosystem Setup
Builds operational backends to support real world business use cases.
  7. Smooth Build-to-Handoff Model
UIX builds, stabilizes, and then transitions the product stack to the client’s own team or new hires.
  8. Domain Flexibility & Use Cases
    UIX has built across verticals:
E-commerce, Cybersecurity, Developer tooling, Wellness, Gaming
  9. Internal Products & Innovation
Runs its own experiments to sharpen team and systems.
  10. Scalable & Repeatable Delivery Process
Every project is executed using a battle tested delivery playbook.

Understand the market

(Let's begin by doing a basic competitor analysis in a tabular format considering all the parameters for your product and its competitors)

(Then let's try to understand the market at a macro level and evaluate the trends and tailwinds/headwinds.)

Now it’s time for some math, calculate the size of your market.

TAM = Total no. of potential customers x Average Revenue Per Customer (ARPU)
SAM = TAM x Target Market Segment (percentage of the total market)
SOM = SAM x Market Penetration/Share

Problem Statement

Funded startups - especially in SaaS, AI, and D2C -> are under constant pressure to ship products fast and iterate quickly.

But traditional hiring cycles for product, design, and engineering teams can take 3–6 months — by which point market windows close and competitors move ahead.
At the same time, most startups don’t want to lock in large fixed teams too early, as their needs evolve constantly.

Existing alternatives fail:

  • Freelance marketplaces → high variability in quality, poor accountability.
  • Traditional agencies → deliver projects but don’t embed with teams or think like partners.
  • Internal hiring → too slow and capital-intensive for fast-moving startups.

This leaves a clear gap: founders and product leaders need trusted, flexible teams that can embed, deliver outcomes, and scale with them, without long-term risk or loss of ownership.

Value Proposition -

UIX Labs provides funded startups with embedded product teams - engineers, designers, and strategists, that act as true partners, not vendors.

We help founders and product heads:

  • Build products faster → without being bottlenecked by hiring cycles.
  • Scale flexibly → increase or decrease team size as needs evolve.
  • Maintain product ownership & vision → UIX teams work embedded with core product teams.
  • De-risk hiring → through our Try & Hire model, founders can test talent fit before committing full-time.

Why now?

  • The market shift toward embedded/fractional teams is accelerating, especially post-2023.
  • Speed of execution is a key differentiator for startups today - and UIX Labs is purpose-built to deliver on this need.

Justifying targeting choice: TAM->SAM->SOM

We chose to target funded SaaS, AI, and D2C startups (Seed ->Series B) primarily in US, India, SEA, and UAE, for several strategic reasons:

1️⃣ High Market Need → Strong Intent
These segments often operate in fast-moving markets and have a critical need for flexible, high-quality product teams - making a perfect fit for UIX Labs' offering.
Startups at this stage have raised capital, need to ship faster than they can hire, and value the flexibility + expertise UIX Labs provides.

2️⃣ Willingness & Ability to Pay
Seed to Series B funded companies typically have both the budget and urgency to engage with external partners like UIX Labs. The $100K–500K deal size range is well-aligned to their typical product development spends.

3️⃣ Founder/CTO-Led Buying
In these segments, buying decisions are often led by founders or product heads, and UIX Labs’ founder-driven positioning (technical partner, not agency) resonates strongly with this audience.

4️⃣ Market Dynamics -> Growing Pools
We’re seeing growing pools of these companies, particularly in:

  • AI SaaS startups emerging globally post-2023 AI hype cycle.
  • D2C brands needing custom tech to scale beyond Shopify limitations.
  • SEA + UAE markets, where product teams are often built via partners instead of full in-house hiring.

Linking Ad Objectives to Real-World Market Dynamics

We are focusing our early paid + organic growth channels where:

  • LinkedIn: Founders, product heads, and investors of funded startups are active and reachable -> aligns with our ICP and deal size focus.
  • Product Hunt + Zapier: These communities are discovery-first, used heavily by SaaS/AI builders -> matches the timing when our ICP needs UIX Labs.
  • Referral / Partner Program: Startup networks are highly peer-driven. Successful partnerships with 1–2 leading companies often lead to word-of-mouth across their VC networks -> fits how this market expands.

Summary: Our targeting choices directly reflect market dynamics:
We’re pursuing fast-growing, funded startup segments with a strong need for UIX Labs' model and using acquisition channels that match how these buyers actually behave online today.

Identifying SEO gaps:

Instead of fighting for high difficulty keywords like “software development agency”, focusing on niche long-tail keywords that UIX's competitors miss, such as:

  • “technical co-founder on demand”
  • “try before hire product team”
  • “hire ai startup product team fast”
  • “best product development partner for funded startup”

These niche queries are less competitive but highly intent-driven

Optimizing content:

  1. Creating blog posts + case studies on niche topics:
  • How we helped AI SaaS companies launch in 8 weeks
  • The hidden risks of hiring full-time developers too soon
  • When startups should outsource vs. build in-house
  1. Optimize pages with:
  • H1/H2: Including long-tail keywords
  • Meta descriptions: Clear, value-driven summaries
  • Videos: Demoing past work, breakdowns of product stories
  1. Tools:
  • Using Moz, SEMrush, Google Search Console to track keywords.
  • Using Notion/Google Sheets to track which blog topics map to which keywords.

Tracking & iterating

  • Tracking organic traffic growth, bounce rate (visitors staying on the page?), conversion rate (demo/teardown booking from SEO traffic)
  • Adjusting - refining keywords based on what's working well, updating old blog posts with new keywords, improving internal linking to guide users to CTAs (eg book a teardowns)

Detailing Content loops

Content Loop

(Keep it simple and get the basics right)

Step 1 → Nail down your content creator, content distributor and your channel of distribution
Step 2 → Decide which type of loop you want to build out.
Step 3 → Create a simple flow diagram to represent the content loop.

Element

UIXLabs' choice

hook

"get a free teardown + real insights on your product’s UX bottlenecks” — valuable, actionable, and shareable.

content creator

UIX team + partners (creating teardown audits, UX case studies) + eventually clients sharing results.

distribution channel

LinkedIn + Twitter (for B2B audience), repurposed on Notion blog + shared via email.

why it will work?

UIX's audience are SaaS founders, , product heads, CTOs that hang out on LinkedIn/Twitter and LOVE actionable teardown content + real success stories.

Choosing type of loop:

Type of Loop

Fit for UIX?

Viral loop

Not fully viral yet (not a B2C mass app).

Referral loop

Yes — founders referring other founders after seeing teardown success.

Content loop

Yes — each teardown → post → discussion → more audience reach.

Selected loop:

Content + Referral Loop Hybrid
You post teardown → audience engages, comments, resharing → some refer peers → those peers request teardown → cycle continues.

Flow:

Create UX teardown →

Audience engages (likes, comments, shares) →
Their network sees it →

Some request teardown or intro →

You deliver + post success story →

Repeat, expanding organic audience each time.

Tools to Launch + Track

Detailing Paid Advertising

(Understand what is already being done, what is working out well and what needs to be stopped)

Step 1 → Define the CAC: LTV ratio. If your product has a healthy CAC:LTV ratio, proceed with paid ads.

Step 2 → Choose an ICP

Step 3 → Select advertising channels

Step 4 → Write a Marketing Pitch

Step 5 → Customize your message for different customer segments to ensure relevance

Step 6 → Design at least two ad creatives (e.g., images, sketches, videos, text ads) that reflect your marketing pitch.

Step 1

Assumptions for UIX Labs:

  • Average Client Deal Size (LTV): $100,000 (₹83L)
  • Net Revenue After Payouts (UIX share): 25% → ₹20.75L
  • Max Allowable CAC (target): ~10–15% of LTV → ₹8–12L per client (absolute max)
BUT realistically, we want CAC to stay under ₹1–1.2L per client (1–1.5% of deal size), because much of the cost is already going to the partner, builders, and delivery.

Ratio:

  • CAC : LTV = ₹1L : ₹83L → ~1.2% (healthy and affordable, scalable if conversions come through paid)

Conclusion: Yes, UIX Labs can afford to test paid ads if we spend wisely.

Step 2: Choose an ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

Selected ICP for Paid Campaign:

  • Funded SaaS startup founders or product heads
  • Located in US, India, Singapore, UAE
  • Seed to Series B stage
  • Need flexible, high speed product teams but don’t want to over hire

Why?
These are high-ticket clients who can afford UIX, have ongoing product needs, and are easy to segment + target on LinkedIn.

Step 3 → Select Advertising Channels

Best-paid channel:

  • LinkedIn Ads → highly specific B2B targeting (by role, funding stage, industry)
  • Google Search Ads → optional, but only if we want to capture “bottom funnel” intent (searchers looking for product dev agencies)

We will focus on LinkedIn for this first paid run.

Step 4: Marketing Pitch

Core Marketing Pitch:

UIX Labs doesn’t just build products — we embed as your technical partner.
We provide flexible, high-quality product teams that think like owners, work alongside you, and help you scale with confidence. Whether you're launching, iterating, or growing, we’re here to accelerate outcomes without the cost, delay, or risk of traditional hiring.
Don’t waste months hiring; work with a squad that thinks and acts like owners.”

  • Strategic Partner, Not Just Service Provider → We co-own your outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Flexible, Embedded Teams → Start fast, adjust as you grow, with no long-term lock-in.
  • Hire for Fit, Not Just Speed → Try, test, and transition the right talent — we help you hire smarter.
  • Product + Technical Excellence → Work with experts who’ve shipped real products, not just code.

Step 5: Customizing the message

  • For SaaS founders:

“Your SaaS startup needs speed. We embed high-quality product teams who’ve done this before — from MVP to scale, without the overhead.”

  • For Product Heads/CTOs:

“We help you hit roadmap goals 3x faster with embedded design + dev squads. Flexible contracts, no hiring risk.”

  • For UAE/India startups:

“We work across time zones and ecosystems — delivering premium, vetted product squads that align with your culture and vision.”

Step 6: designing ad creatives

Detailing Product integrations

(Understand, where does organic intent for your product begins?)

Step 1 → Identify complementary products used by your ICP

To unlock organic intent and reach new audiences, we looked at platforms and ecosystems where our ICP ; SaaS founders, AI startup founders, product heads, and CTOs ; already spend time and explore solutions. Instead of just delivery tools (like Figma or Jira), we focused on growth-facing platforms that help UIX Labs get discovered.
Key complementary products we identified:

  • Product Hunt (startup discovery + launch platform)
  • LinkedIn (B2B outreach + professional networking)
  • Zapier (nocode/automation tools where startups experiment with workflows)

Step 2 → Use the selection framework and compare the potential integrations it in a tabular form.

Channel NameIntegration Partner 1 (Product Hunt)Integration Partner 2 (LinkedIn)Integration Partner 3 (Zapier)

Why This Partner?

Startup founders + product leaders actively discover new services + tools here.

B2B decision-makers and product leaders are highly active here.

Many SaaS teams use nocode tools; Zapier helps embed UIX Labs into their workflows.

Potential Integration

Launch teardown offers, mini frameworks, or free tools on Product Hunt to drive organic discovery.

Build an automated outreach + lead gen funnel through LinkedIn campaigns and messages.

Publish pre-built Zapier packs (e.g., “Startup Growth Sprint Pack”) to give value upfront and drive inbound interest.

Value to the User

Founders can instantly discover + test UIX services or offers without friction.

Direct access to decision-makers, easy conversation starters, fast lead funneling.

Provides immediate workflow wins, embedding UIX Labs into their daily operations.

Effort Level

Medium (Product Hunt launch prep, content creation).

Medium (LinkedIn automation, ad creatives, smart targeting).

Medium–High (building + publishing Zapier packs, testing automations).

Pilot Potential

Run 1 mini Product Hunt launch (e.g., teardown offer) and track traction.

Pilot LinkedIn outreach to 1–2 ICP segments and monitor connections + replies.

Launch 1–2 Zapier workflows and track installs, follow-ups, and inbound leads.

Step 3 → Collaborate with necessary stakeholders

To make these integrations work smoothly, we will coordinate across:

  • Internal stakeholders at UIX Labs: Founder, technical team and sales to design, build, and communicate the integrations effectively.
  • External stakeholders:
    • Product Hunt community moderators or launch consultants to ensure a strong, discoverable launch.
    • LinkedIn outreach or ad specialists to set up automated (but human) campaigns, targeting the right ICP.
    • Zapier partner ecosystem or integration specialists to build, test, and publish high-quality workflows.

Step 4 → Map the customer journey

Integration Partner 1: Product Hunt

  1. SaaS/AI startup founder or product head discovers UIX Labs’ mini tool, teardown offer, or framework on Product Hunt.
  2. They click through, explore the landing page, and sign up for the free value offer.
  3. They receive fast, actionable feedback or insights from the UIX team.
  4. Trust builds → leads to a conversation about paid sprints, deeper projects, or long-term partnerships.

Integration Partner 2: LinkedIn

  1. Product head or CTO sees a targeted LinkedIn message, post, or ad showcasing UIX Labs’ offer.
  2. They click through, view the pitch (e.g., “get a free UX audit” or “try-before-hire sprint”), and book a call or submit a request.
  3. They experience the value firsthand, engage in conversation, and convert into a paying client.

Integration Partner 3: Zapier

  1. Startup founder or operations lead browsing Zapier marketplace finds UIX Labs’ workflow pack.
  2. They install the pack, apply it to their business, and get immediate workflow or process improvements.
  3. Impressed by the embedded value, they explore UIX Labs’ other services or reach out directly.
  4. This converts into a paid engagement or broader project.

Step 5 → Design the wireframe with the new integration

  • Product Hunt:
A landing page with the teardown offer, clear CTA (book free teardown, download mini-framework), and social proof (testimonials, results).
  • LinkedIn:
A message sequence or ad funnel with:
    • Eye-catching hook (pain point or opportunity)
    • Personal or semi-automated outreach message
    • Strong CTA (schedule a call, claim teardown offer)
  • Zapier:
    A published workflow template with:
    • A clear use case (e.g., “automate sprint management” or “UX feedback loop”)
    • Simple install button + follow-up welcome message
    • Embedded links or upsell to UIX Labs’ services

Step 6 → Run pilot tests before launching

For each integration:

  • Select 1–2 early test clients or ICP segments.
  • Run a 2–4 week pilot:
    • Product Hunt → launch 1 free offer or tool, monitor upvotes, saves, and clicks.
    • LinkedIn → test a message + ad sequence, monitor reply rates, connection rates, booked calls.
    • Zapier → publish 1–2 workflow packs, monitor installs, initial feedback, and inbound leads.

Step 7 → Measure post-integration metrics

✅ Metrics to track:

  • Number of ICP leads generated per integration.
  • Engagement metrics: upvotes, clicks, installs, replies.
  • Cost per lead (if paid channels like LinkedIn ads).
  • Conversion rates: from engagement → demo/teardown → paid project.
  • Brand reach: mentions, reposts, community conversations.
  • Time-to-conversion: how fast leads move from discovery to booking.

Detailing Referral / Partner program

(For B2B companies, if referral does not make sense you'll take a crack at a partner program for your product)

Step 1 → Flesh out the referral/partner program
Step 2 Draw raw frames on a piece of paper to get the gist.

(Don't spend a lot of time on design. This is for you to communicate how the referral hook will look)

we hope this helped you break the cold start problem!

Reminder: This is not the only format to follow, feel free to edit it as you wish!

Step 1 → Flesh out the Referral / Partner Program

Since UIX Labs is a B2B product with high-ticket clients, a classic user referral program (like discounts or cashbacks) doesn’t fully fit.
Instead, we’re focusing on a partner program that taps into our ecosystem of freelancers, community members, startup consultants, investors, and industry peers -people who know high potential startups or scaleups and can introduce them to us.

  1. Identifying Customer Touchpoints
    Our best touchpoints happen when:
  • We complete a successful teardown or sprint.
  • We deliver a strong product outcome and the client is excited.
  • Builders and freelancers working with us are happy and aligned.
These “AHA moments” are perfect for planting the referral or partner discovery message.
  1. Define the Brag-Worthy Element
What makes people excited about UIX Labs?
  • Access to high-quality, flexible product teams.
  • Being able to help startups move faster without wasting time or over-hiring.
  • Being part of an ecosystem that delivers real product impact.
  1. Define - Platform Currency
    What’s the incentive?
  • For partners (introducers, scouts): Up to 25% of deal revenue share for successful introductions + project conversions.
  • For internal builders or freelancers: Leadership opportunities, revenue share on projects they lead, or bonuses for bringing in deals.
This taps into both monetary incentives + status and growth opportunities.
  1. Determine Who to Ask for a Referral
    We’ll target:
  • Past and current happy clients.
  • Community builders, freelancers, design and dev partners.
  • Startup mentors, advisors, or investors we’re connected with.
The ask will come right after project delivery or during key engagement moments, when trust is highest.
  1. Referral / Partner Discovery
    We’ll surface the program through:
  • Direct personal emails + thank you messages.
  • In-client communications (e.g., at the end of a project or sprint wrap).
  • Community touchpoints (Slack groups, Notion hubs, LinkedIn posts).
  1. Referral Sharing & Communication
Referral shares will happen mainly through:
  • Personalized intro emails or LinkedIn messages (“Hey, meet the UIX team”).
  • We can also provide partners with a referral deck or mini pitch they can forward.
The message will highlight why UIX Labs is a great partner for startups: flexible, expert teams, no hiring risk, fast onboarding.
  1. Tracking Referrals
    We’ll set up:
  • A Notion or Airtable tracker for manual referral tracking (who introduced whom, deal size, payout status).
  • For larger scale, we can later automate this with a formal CRM or referral tracking tool.
Referrers will get regular updates: intro made → lead accepted → deal closed → payout processed.
  1. Design the Referral Landing Page for Non-Users
Non-users (startups being referred) will land on:
  • A dedicated page (or mini site) introducing UIX Labs, showing:
    • What we offer.
    • Success stories and case studies.
    • A special “referred by [partner name]” callout to make it personal.
  • Clear CTA: “Book a Free Product Teardown” or “Talk to a Product Strategist.”
  1. Encourage Continuous Referrals
    To keep partners engaged:
  • We’ll offer tiered rewards (e.g., after 1 deal, 5 deals, 10 deals, bonuses or recognition).
  • We’ll publicly highlight top partners (LinkedIn shoutouts, community spotlights).
  • We’ll send occasional updates on how their referrals helped startups succeed - making them feel part of the impact.

Step 2 → Raw Frames

  • Referral invite message → simple “Hey, meet UIX Labs” email template.
  • Referral tracking sheet → Airtable/Notion table with columns: Partner, Lead, Status, Payout.
  • Referral landing page → Headline, short pitch, success stories, CTA button.

- Tracking & Partner Experience

In addition to identifying the Partner Program and key touchpoints, here’s how UIX Labs will strengthen tracking and partner experience:

  • Simple CRM-based tracking: Each partner will have a unique referral code or will be tagged as referrer in CRM.
  • Partner Dashboard: Airtable/Notion-based live view of their referrals and payout status.
  • Automated updates: Email updates sent at key milestones → keeps partners engaged and informed.
  • Wireframe Flow: Partner → Submit Lead/Link → CRM → Dashboard → Email Updates → Payout.

This system ensures transparency, trust, and encourages ongoing referrals by making the experience seamless for partners.

Tracking Referrals

Tracking will be designed to create transparency and trust for partners, and to make it easy for UIX Labs to manage payouts.

Partner Tracking Flow:

  1. Every partner gets a unique referral code or link (shared via Notion or CRM).
  2. When they introduce a client:
    • If it’s a direct intro (warm lead), we tag them as “referrer” in our CRM (Hubspot / Airtable).
    • If it’s via a link, the lead signs up -> auto-tagged with referral partner code.
  3. Tracking Dashboard:
    • Initial version: Airtable or Notion table shared with each partner (view-only), showing:
      • Leads introduced
      • Status: Contacted → Qualified → In Negotiation → Deal Won → Payout In Progress → Paid
      • Estimated payout value (visible post-qualification)
  4. Partners receive:
    • Email updates on lead progress at key stages.
    • Summary report monthly showing their referral pipeline.
